Description:

I created this pocket booklet of anime, titled  “Anthony’s Anime Guide; Surviving Quarantine” with the hopes that someone who may not enjoy anime will pick this up and start an anime that I consider “starter anime” during the quarantine or at anytime. Originally the idea for this project centered around the events that had been cancelled due to the ongoing virus, but as that may seem insensitive I changed my idea accordingly. Creating this project was extremely fun for me because I was able to sift through the hundreds of anime that I have seen and compile a short list of what I think first time anime viewers may like, my thoughts “there is one for everybody”.

Reflection:

The idea for project 5 was changed midway through the pandemic, but luckily this was my second idea for the assignment which turned out for the best because as stated above this project was the most fun I had creating a booklet. In order to create the booklet I used mainly Adobe InDesign for the final layout, edited photos in Adobe Photoshop and added the gradient to the text on the cover on Adobe Illustrator.
