Description:
This logo represents all of my interests and what I post about in my blog. These interests include video games, make up, and writing. I utilized the terms connectivity, interactivity, unity, and creativity as a way to represent my interests and emphasize that all of these interests connect in my life. As this is a blog created a few years ago, I wanted to create a fresh logo to revamp my blog and inspire me to create more content.
Reflection:
I knew I wanted to create a logo that focused on my interests but I was not sure how this idea would work in the beginning. Upon further reflection, I decided to create a logo for a blog that I created in my last year of undergrad. I enjoyed writing for the blog at the time but stepped away for a few years due to a busy schedule. Creating this logo in Adobe Illustrator allowed me to utilize a new software I had never tried before. I was more familiar with Adobe Photoshop but using the new software allowed me to be very creative in the final design of my logo. I believe the color scheme, text, and images I chose fully represent me as a person and the content that I put on my blog.
