Reflection: I felt unsatisfied working on ELTHE after seeing the creative projects my classmates created. To this end, I decided to set about taking on a personal project using a software I’m familiar with to showcase that I have some sufficient knowledge of Design / Layout. The culmination of this endeavor is a guide to playing the Water Element (Namely pay-to-win Water, also called Varuna) in the MMO JRPG Granblue Fantasy. I felt like I could talk about this at length because I have played this game for the last 5 years, and was given permission by a friend to transpose his guide (Google Docs) into something more satisfying to look at. The challenging part for me was inputting new knowledge that wasn’t covered by my friend, and that required research to achieve.
While the document has a couple more sections to add, I plan to continue working on it as I’d like to show my friends and the Granblue community the culmination of my efforts.
