Description: Created on Canva using a combination of screenshots and poetry this Manifesto aims at recapturing our sense of duty to ourselves as individuals instead of social media users.
Reflection:
Originally I had planned to use a combination of screenshots showing the deletion of various social media accounts. In attempting to create a collage of sorts, I felt the impact of the piece became underwhelming – as many of the sites used bland webpages as their final send off. To adapt, I decided to place my manifesto as the focal piece instead with the hint of a more dynamic exit – scene. If given the opportunity to continue work on this project, I would attempt to incorporate more of my original vision.
