Description
For this multi-page layout design, I decided to produce a parody mixtape featuring Bane from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. The front and back covers of the mixtape features allusions and references to the movie. I was inspired by the parody assignment we did in Dr. Mason’s Multimodality class, as well as the iconic mixtape covers from Gucci Mane, whom I discussed in Episode I of my TRAP Podcast.
Reflection
I went through multiple ideas for Project 3, and I’m pleased with how it turned out. I utilized Adobe Photoshop to craft the main images, then used Canva fonts to lay out the track list. I made sure everything was even and looked professional, like a piece of cover art you would see on Apple Music, Spotify or other streaming platforms. It was awesome to go back to my roots and craft such a design, and it looks clean. I’m really grateful for this class and the work we were able to produce in my final semester.
