My final presentation analyzed the reading by Thomas, “Writers must develop a strong, original voice.” I used three examples to explain why I disagree with Thomas’s claims of not teaching voice in composition courses. I provided examples as to how I use voice on a daily basis working in the communication field, along with its importance when pursuing a Ph.D.
