Note: This project is “under construction,” meaning it is missing the substitutions talked about in the introduction. Everything else is present, though. The recipe is a parody of a woman’s perfect day taking the form of traditional cookbook instructions- a day where a lady chooses to put herself first instead of neglecting her own self care. I was playing with a recipe to create this because I wanted to repurpose the recipe genre to represent more of an agenda so I changed the measurements into time, the ingredients into activities and substitutions into alternative plans.
Reflection:
Since the project is unfinished, I cannot give a full reflection here, but I can direct my viewers to the introduction portion of this project. It explains why I chose to create what I did and how it came about from my personal experience.
