Make America Move Again: A Parody

Make America Move Again: A Parody

Ditch your emission leaking carbon footprint and leave a human footprint on the new human conveyor belt that can transport you across America!

On the surface, the idea promises a utopian, carbon-free mode of transportation, with citizens gliding seamlessly to their destinations. However, in addition to the exorbitant cost from tax dollars, the reality reveals a staggering irony. The conveyor system’s construction requires enormous amounts of steel, concrete, and rare-earth metals, resulting in a carbon footprint larger than the automobile industry’s annual output. Maintenance to keep it running would demand a constant influx of energy, likely generated by fossil fuels, while frequent breakdowns would cripple urban efficiency.

This pokes fun at many of the new green deal proposals in politics today, and how they end up costing more and wasting more, while simultaneously serving certain demographics only.
