Description
This soundscape is a replica of what a day in the WCC sounds like. I wanted to make it sound like you are walking through the WCC. The conversations go in and out, often taken out of context, all while Lofi beats play in the background.
Reflection
I started by physically moving through the WCC space myself. An FDA and sometimes Courtney would greet you immediately at the front. Sometimes our FDAs are on the phone with a student as well as typing information. As you move away from the front, you hear an appointment going on. Specifically, the beginning of the appointment. As you keep moving, you can also hear other consultants who aren’t in appointments, either talking to each other or asking a GAC for schedule changes. There are also sounds of phones, ringing, markers on the board, and keyboards clacking. The point was to mimic a normal day at the WCC as closely as possible.
